Jake Adam York Prize Finalist

I feel so honored to have had my debut poetry manuscript be named a finalist for the tenth annual Jake Adam York Prize for a first or second poetry collection, a collaboration between Copper Nickel and Milkweed Editions. I’m still processing the fact that Patricia Smith, this year’s judge and a poet I greatly admire, read some of my work (!). A very big congratulations to Constant Laval Williams and many thanks to everyone involved.
