Alice White is an American expat poet.
Originally from Kansas, she holds an M.A. in English from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where she was awarded the King James VI Prize. She has received support for her work through fellowships and scholarships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Brooklyn Poets, and the Hawthornden Foundation, and was featured in Best New Poets 2023.
Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in publications including Blackbird, Black Warrior Review, Copper Nickel, Greensboro Review, Gulf Coast, The London Magazine, New Letters, New Ohio Review, North American Review, Pleiades, The Poetry Review, Swamp Pink, and The Threepenny Review, and has been featured on the podcast The Slowdown.
She is currently in the process of relocating to Canada after ten years in France.
